Release v1

This milestone is for the release of a "minimum viable product" form of MPath for the most common usage scenarios of get, set, and remove. The aim for the first release is to have a stable first version the most common use cases using basic dot operations. This includes:

  • Simple exact dot operations: /A
  • Sets of children: /{A,B}
  • Wildcard matching: /A*

The main focus will be to nail down the core functionality and pushing the boundaries around edge cases before moving on to more advanced features in subsequent releases. This includes scenarios like:

  • Proper handling of container arrays via comma separate list operations
  • Accessing classes that redefine dot operations in unusual ways

This release will be the first with a version number, which will follow a form of semantic versioning with three levels: major, minor, and patch.
